We met Anastasia at the infamous school board meeting on April 27, 2021. As a concerned parent, she had shown up to speak to the school board members to implore them to listen to the parents, students and the community. Instead of listening, they canceled the meeting altogether. Anastasia will never turn her back on Vail students and parents.
Since that time, Anastasia has been active in organizing and educating parents. She is already working on behalf of the community. And I believe that she will be a good representative of the people in the Vail School District. She will serve in her capacity as a school board member to improve the academic rigor and successful futures of all students, and build back the trust of parents through transparency and accountability.
